1. When do you apply this privacy statement?
This privacy statement applies to all personal data that we process and to all domains related to us. This concerns the personal data of everyone who has ever had contact us or made use of our services. This includes our own customers (marketing agencies), as well as the client of said respective agency if they have used our services. Personal data is all data that can be traced back to you as an individual, such as your name, telephone number, IP address, customer number or surfing behavior. 2. Who uses your data?
merge-x.com is responsible for the website merge-x.com and therefore the responsible organization for the use of your personal data as described in this privacy statement. If you are an agent and customer of merge-x.com, we only store your name, phone number, email address and company name. If you are a user/agency client we only store your marketing assets name, and internal id. For example, if you have a Google Ads account named Example, with ID 123-456-789 and you invite your marketing agency via merge-x.com, we only store Example (123-456-789). If you wish to request what data we have stored regarding your marketing assets, please email us at info@merge-x.com.
Additionally, we collect behavioral data (website visits, clicks, time spent on a page, etc.) through various third party cookies on our website given that you give us consent to do so.
3. Whose data do we use?
We process the personal data of everyone who has had contact with us, been a customer of ours, a user of our services and/or website visitors once a website visitor has given their consent.

We receive the data directly from you as soon as you: create an account, OR invite your agency via a merge-x.com link.

In all cases provided that you have given consent:
Website surfing behavior. This can include but is not limited to, page visits, clicks on pages, time spent on pages, sequences of page visits.
5.1 How do we access your Google User Data?
We access your Google Data via Google’s own OAuth 2.0 protocol. This means that only individuals with access to your Google Account can share your Google Data with us.
5.2 What Google User Data do we use/store?
If you give merge-x.com access to your Google Marketing Assets via OAuth 2.0, we store data on your Google Marketing Assets. This data includes, and is limited to the Google Marketing Assets your agency requests, AND the Google Marketing Assets you provide access to. If you provide access to your Google Ads Account named Example, with ID 123-456-789. We only store the name and ID of the Google Ads Account selected by you. This is also the case for Google Merchant Center Accounts, Google Analytics Accounts and Google Tag Manager Accounts you invite your agency to. We do not store any other data regarding you, any of your Google Marketing Assets or Google Marketing Asset selected by you.
5.3 What Google User Data do we share with others?
Merge-x.com does not share and/or sell any data regarding your Google Accounts (e.g. Google Ads) to any third parties. All data is treated as confidential and kept internal.
5.4 Limited Use of Google User Data
Merge-x.com’s use and transfer of information received from the Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google’s Own User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements. The only data regarding a user’s Google Accounts we store is to ensure our services are not abused, and we are providing the best possible onboarding experience for our users and customers.
6. What do we use your data for?
We use your data to make sure that our services are performing optimally for you.
7. How long do we keep your data?
We keep your personal data for as long as we are required to do so by law and for as long as necessary for the purpose for which we use your data. For example, as long as you are a customer with us, we store your data according to the statutory retention period of seven years. After that, we only keep your data for statistical purposes and to handle any complaints or legal matters. We only share your website surfing behavior with third parties given that you provide us with the content to do so.

10. How safe is your data with us?
We have done a lot to protect your data as well as possible, both organizationally and technically. We have secured our systems and various means of communication to ensure that your data does not end up in the hands of others. Your data is therefore safe with us. Right to information

You may always ask us to view the data we hold about you.

You may ask us to have your data corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete.
Right to object
You may object to the processing of your data if you do not agree with the way we handle your personal data. This right applies to the data we use for direct marketing. How do I submit a request or complaint?
You can submit your request or complaint to us by sending a mail to tijs@merge-x.com. We process every request or complaint within 30 days. If you submit multiple applications or complaints or if you submit a complex request or complaint, this may take more time. In that case, we will contact you within 60 days at the latest. We may ask you to identify yourself. In that case, we will ask you to submit certain information to ensure that you are the correct person whose personal data is.
12. What rules apply to this privacy statement?
Our privacy statement must meet several conditions. These conditions can be found in particular in the Dutch General Data Protection Regulation. In addition, the general rules that apply under Dutch law apply to our privacy statement.
